Ashley + Chris = Engaged! Austin engagement session

Ashley and Chris having their wedding April 23, which means that it’s seriously only weeks away! So, it’s kind of a funny story how we met. I was out walking my dog at my complex’s dog park when I get a call from Ashley looking for photographers for her wedding. Fast forward to our meeting, we are talking and I find out that she and Chris are my neighbors. Wait, not just neighbors, but that they’re my “in-the-same-building-one-floor-above-me” neighbors. Destiny! I had a great time shooting with these two…they’re just the best! We started off at the Highball in South Austin, which is a great new and untapped place to get some vintage-y shots plus a bit of a bowling theme. Huge thanks to them for opening their doors early for us! I love Chris’s trucker-bowling shirt, complete with mudflap lady silhouettes. Hilariously tacky and cool…and of course I pleaded with him to wear it! We then headed over to the South First and the Soco district, and I bought them an ice cream to shareThey’re such a happy and in L-O-V-E couple and I’m seriously excited to shoot Ashley’s bridals and the wedding in just a few weeks!
