Chris and Amy’s Retro {Vintage} Austin Engagement Session

I’ve known Amy for a little while now, and I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. I was even more thrilled when I found out about her funky, off-beat ideas for a retro (vintage) engagement session. I love getting the opportunity work with a bride who really wants to think outside the traditional wedding box. Plus, it’s a great chance to redefine a lot of the classic and oft-photographed Austin spots. We hit a ton of locations ended up shooting for about 4 hours, and capped it all off with some margaritas! Some of those locations include: Nau’s Enfield Drug, Doc’s, Amy’s Ice Cream (I just love the little pun here!), the So-Co district, Roadhouse Relics, and a few secret spots too! Also, while outside of Jo’s Coffeehouse, we happened upon a couple who happened to own a ’55 Porche. They were nice enough to let us use it as a prop. Perfect! I had a blast, and love how the pictures came out. I hope you love them too!!
