Ricky Williams Foundation – Roast of Ricky Williams

In conjunction with the presentation of a statue honoring Heisman Trophy running back Ricky Williams, the Ricky Williams Foundation put on a charity dinner/celebrity-style roast of the great running back. I donated my services and all of the photos on the evening for the cause. I was honored to be asked, and huge thanks to Cassie Springer-Sullivan of Springer-Sullivan & Roberts LLP for putting on and coordinating the event. It was so awesome to meet Ricky and his mom, as well as Mack Brown in person, and rub a few elbows with some other Texas greats, as well as a celeb that you just might recognize!

Kelly + Troy = Engaged! – An Austin engagement session

Kelly and Troy are getting married later this year, and I’m thrilled that I’m their photographer! I had a blast getting to know them. We started their engagement session at Mayfield Park, before heading over to Mt. Bonnell for some gorgeous sunset photos! Enjoy!!

Clare + Aaron! A Immaculate Conception Chapel Ceremony and Witte Museum Reception in San Antonio

Clare and Aaron tied the knot on February 18, 2012 in San Antonio, TX! They had their ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Chapel and their reception was held at the Witte Museum. I just loved how easy-going Clare and Aaron were, and their happy attitudes carried throughout their wedding. They were just there to have fun and throw a great party for their friends and family! Huge thanks to Audrey at Timeless Beginnings for her spot-on coordination throughout the day! Elaine + Mike = Engaged! An Austin engagement session

I met Elaine a few years ago, while she was working for Wild Bunches Floral. We had bumped into each other at a few open houses over that time. Well fast forward to now, when I received the email from her that she was getting married and that she wanted me to be the photographer for her wedding, I was so excited! For their engagement session, we wanted to incorporate things that were special to them. So, we started with a little bit of tennis. And as a nod to to all of our personalities, the pictures came out fun and a little silly! We then headed over to South Congress, swung by Homeslice, and finished up at the Long Center with their pups. I had so much fun hanging out with them during their session, and their wedding promises to be a crazy fun party!

Sarah + Russ! An East Austin portrait session

So, I’ve known Russell for several years now. He and I used to work at the same photography studio here in Austin, way back in the early early days of my photography career. Wow! It seems like an eternity ago. And after we both left, he married his cutie girlfriend Sarah, but they never had a formal wedding ceremony or reception. And since he’s always behind the camera, they never really had any pictures taken together, either. I was honored that they would ask me to capture their sweet and goofy and slightly geeky love for each other. In case you were wondering, their matching shirts are the Legend of Zelda Triforce crests.:-)
